Founder’s Message
Welcome to AGP Ceylon (Pty) Ltd, and thank you for visiting our website.
In 2021 AGP Ceylon was created with a clear purpose — to build a modern, reliable, and growth-driven business group that delivers real value to people and communities across Sri Lanka. Having gained strong international exposure through my professional experience in Australia, I developed the passion to bring that knowledge back home and create opportunities that support both business success and national development.
My journey started in the financial services industry, where I gained over five years of experience with ANZ Bank Australia. This background shaped my mindset around professionalism, trust, customer service, and long-term business stability. Alongside banking, I also gained three years of experience with Coles Group Australia, which strengthened my operational understanding of retail, supply, customer experience, and managing fast-paced environments.
With my academic foundation in Commerce and Finance (University of Canberra Australia and RMIT University Australia) , and additional professional trade qualifications, I was able to develop the confidence to build businesses with a strong balance of strategy, efficiency, and people-first service.
Today, AGP Ceylon continues to grow across different sectors, including retail ventures such as Ozzie Mart, and we remain open to exploring new investments and partnerships that align with Sri Lanka’s fast-changing market and future potential.
Our focus is simple: create businesses that serve people, create jobs, support innovation, and build a stronger future for Sri Lanka.
